2005 - 30 Hour Famine

Our youth gave up food for 30 hours to raise money and awareness for world hunger.  They met at church at 9am on Saturday and stayed until Sunday after worship.  As a group, they raised $1800!

Each participant was asked to decorate a piece of fabric that was put together with the other squares to make the famine quilt.  Other blankets/quilts were made, many service projects were completed on the Church property.

It was an awesome experience!
