| Marc grew up in Ohio, received a BA from Bethany College (West Virginia) and M. Div. from Brite Divinity School (Texas Christian University). He was ordained in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in 1985 and has served as pastor at Hamilton Christian Church and Overland Christian Church in St. Louis County, MO before joining the ministerial team at Celebration in 2001. He enjoys reading, kaleidoscopes and has a large collection of Nativity sets. He has a low tolerance for inept drivers. | ||
| While at TCU, Joel and Marc spent time racing slot cars, when they were not studying. They also participated in the Beeson Institute for Advanced Church Leadership, visiting and learning from cutting edge churches around the country. | ||

Revs.
Joel and Gail Aurand are ordained ministers in the Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ). They have 3 teenage daughters, Kelsey,
Bethany, and Charis. The Aurands have served congregations in
Texas, Gail is
from Des Moines, Iowa, and graduated in 1981 from Central College in
Pella, Iowa with a degree in church music. She graduated with a Masters
of Divinity from Brite Divinity School in 1985 and was ordained with Joel
in August of that year. Gail stayed home with their daughters and taught
piano, organized Christian education and directed choirs (including
handbells) in the churches & communities that they served. In 1998, Gail
created the Music Arts & Drama Camp for the Southeast Gateway Area of the
Christian Church. She is currently serving as a pastor at the
Louisiana, Missouri Disciples church. Gail also
